About Mr. Gerry

English Fluency Coach

I'm Mr. Gerry, South African-Greek, and I've been teaching English for over 7 years. I went to an International British School, St. Lawrence College, and later lived, studied, and worked in London and Amsterdam.

Before I got into teaching, I worked in advertising, art, and live performance. I've directed films, composed soundtracks, played in bands, built web apps, and developed a project that came second at the Onassis 'Innovation, Tech & Culture Summer School'.

Teaching came unexpectedly, but it turned out to be the most rewarding thing I've ever done. You're guiding people, supporting them, and helping them grow. That's what made me move towards coaching. After years of doing everything I ever dreamed of, what I enjoy most now is helping others find what they're capable of.
